For the past 10 years I have been working in the live events sector with a specialism in Lighting & Video.

A lot of my work is a split in between having a wide technical understanding as well as having a creative mindset.

With a varied skill set I have taken to Project Management, with an emphasis on system design, integration, and deployment of large & complex AV systems.

I have helped put on shows around the world, whether it be concert touring, broadcast events or attractions.

I have a real passion for what I do, and I wouldn’t be doing it if I didn’t love it!

This is a talk I did for Electromagnetic Field festival in 2024. More of an overview about our industry’s network systems to an audience of technical people, but mostly people not in the industry. As my first public speaking opportunity I did bumble through some of the explanation, but overall I was quite happy.
